If you see the following error message, the security plugin Wordfence prevents you from logging in to WordPress via the REST API.
To solve the problem, please log in to your WordPress blog. There, click on “Wordfence” in the left sidebar, select “All Options,” and deactivate the setting “Disable WordPress application passwords”. Afterward, click “Save Changes” at the top right and repeat the login process in Ulysses. The error message should no longer appear.
